The actor is known for his various iconic roles in films such as Best in Show and The Mighty Wind. In television, Willard is known for his roles in Modern Family, New Girl, Everybody Loves Raymond, and many more. Throughout his career, Willard was nominated four times at the Emmy Awards for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series, three for his role as Hank MacDougall in Everybody Loves Raymond, and one as Frank Dunphy in Modern Family.
