Bruce wouldn’t stand for such accusations and said that both EC3 and Mathews consider everything to be a joke. The meeting was interrupted as Karen Jarrett walked in and requested for an in-ring meeting between with Siena during the latest episode.
After she left, Borash mocked Mathews saying that he is not even the best commentator in his family. He added that he wants to file a motion to replace him on the commentary team, probably replacing him with his wife Madison Rayne as she is a far better commentator than Mathews.
More back and forth between Borash and Mathews as Bruce adjourned the meeting.
Karen Jarrett made her entrance to kick things off. Karen addressed the “Fire Josh” chants by saying that she has put that on her list but revealed that she has more important things to tackle. She brought up the departure of Maria Kanellis Bennett and mentioned that it has resulted in an ugly situation in the Knockouts locker room.
She accused Siena of bullying other women performers and stated that she wouldn’t tolerate such behaviour.
Sienna came out and got in her face. Jarrett added that she hasn’t heard anything good about Sienna from any roster member backstage since she came back. Karen reminded Sienna that she is her boss and straightway denied to reveal who had blamed her.
Sienna said that she believed Allie had something to do with this. Karen then told Sienna that she would regret her actions just like she has regretted her ill-intentioned activities during her previous tenure. She gave Sienna 15 seconds to apologise for her actions but out came a man with a mohawk to defend Sienna.
He revealed himself to be Sienna’s cousin, “KM”.
He then told Karen to “shut the hell up” and demanded that she respect his family members. In fact, KM gave Jarret 15 seconds to apologise to Sienna and their entire family for her actions. As he began the countdown, Allie and Braxton Sutter interrupted. Sutter attacked KM and they started to brawl outside.
Karen booked Sutter against KM for later on in the episode. Impact returned from commercial with a video package where the X Divison stars discussed what it means to them to be a part of the division.
#1 Andrew Everett vs. DJ Z
The match was filled with fast-paced back and forth action. DJ Z had the upper hand for the first few minutes until ‘The Skywalker’ connected him with a springboard dropkick, followed by a step-up dropkick.
DJ blocks a moonsault attempt from Everett by putting his boots up. Andrew countered a ZDT attempt into a Small Package and got the three count.
Result: Andrew Everett defeated DJ Z
Frustrated by his defeat, DJ Z left the ring. As Everett celebrated, Shane Helms came out with the X Division Champion Trevor Lee. Helms mocked Everett’s short win-streak but promised that he would provide him an opportunity to extend it on next week’s Impact.
The shows returned from commercial with Jeremy Borash and Rosemary in the ring. Borash, who was set to interview the Knockouts Champion, mentioned her dominating run with the title.
Rosemary called herself ‘the best Knockouts Champion of all time’ and continued to speak about her impressive reign. ODB interrupted and introduced herself as an original and 4-time ‘Knocked up’ Champion. She even demanded another shot at the title. Rosemary attempted to leave the ring after saying that the ‘hive disagrees’ with ODB’s statements.
This prompted the entire Knockouts locker room to come out, along with Madison Rayne. They stop Rosemary from escaping and forced her back into the ring. Rayne grabbed a mic and told Borash to not touch her. She then insulted the entire Knockouts roster before bragging about her own impressive career.
She was followed by Brandi Rhodes and Diamante, and all of them wanted a shot at Rosemary’s gold. Impact went to a commercial with all the Knockouts brawling.
Impact returned and the commentators were discussing the brawl between the Knockouts. Jeremy and Mathews again went at each other, which led to Josh challenging Borash to get separate teams.
EC3 came out in casual attire, with a grey sportcoat. He apologised to Karen Jarrett for his recent behaviour and accepted the fact that he needed to change. Carter mentioned several former Impact Superstars and said that he will be the top guy of the promotion once again.
James Storm interrupted and asked EC3 why he didn’t mention ‘The Cowboy’. Storm and Carter began to spar verbally for some time with Storm citing his accomplishments as the reason for him to be the top guy once again. EC3 said that the fans deserve to decide who should be getting a shot at the Impact World Championship between them, to which Storm agreed.
A video package aired where The Laredo Kid and Garza Jr. discussed their struggle to make it to the promotion and how they will win the Impact Tag Championships. Impact returned from commercial with another video package. This time, Reno Scum hyped their match for the vacant Impact Tag team Championships later.
#2 Moose(c) vs Cody (with Brandi Rhodes) [Impact Grand Championship match]
The Grand Championships rules and round structure has been kept intact. Cody came out first with the GFW NexGen title around his waist.
Round 1: Moose pushed Cody to the corner and chopped him repeatedly. Cody fought back with a tornado DDT. He didn’t take the advantage and instead opted to showboat. Cody paid for it, as Moose delivered several high-impact manoeuvres: the pop-up powerbomb, the standing senton and the moonsault back to back.
Moose covered Cody but he kicked out. With 90 seconds left for the 1st round, the action went outside the ring. They traded some strikes. Cody attempted to superkick Moose, but ended up knocking out one of the judges instead.
Both men came returned to the ring and Cody hit Moose with a hangman’s DDT. The timer ran out and Impact went into a commercial. After the commercial, Bruce Prichard replaced the judge who was knocked out by Cody.
Round 1 scorecard: Moose won (29-28), with Judge 2 and 3 scoring him 10-9 in the round.
Round 2: Cody was frustrated with the scores and attacked Moose at the outset. He delivered a basement dropkick to the Champion’s knee. Cody continued to attack Moose and hit him with the discus clothesline.
He targeted the knee again but Moose countered and rolled him up for a school-boy pin. He went for a powerbomb but Cody blocked it and drove Moose out of the ring. Moose then blocked a springboard splash and apron powerbombed Cody. He took out a steel chair but Brandi got in the way before he could strike Cody.
The hesitation allowed Cody to kick the steel chair into Moose’s head. Cody got Moose back to the ring and locked him in a figure-4 leglock. The timer ran out but Moose didn’t tap.
Round 2 scorecard: Cody won (29-28). Prichard and the second judge gave 10-9 scores to Cody.
Round 3: Before the round started Brandi started to yell at Cody. She said that she doesn’t care if the Moose and Cody kill each other and walked down the ramp. The round started with both men trading punches in the centre of the ring.
They went back and forth until Cody hit the Beautiful Disaster and both of them were down. With just a minute left, they traded strikes again and ended up knocking each other down. The timer ran out with Cody and Moose trading strikes back and forth.
Round 3 Scorecard: Moose won by 29-28. Judge 1 and 3 scored Moose 10-9 in the round.
Result: Moose defeated Cody by split decision to retain the Impact Grand Championship
Cody threw a tantrum but Moose got in his face yet again. A frustrated Cody left the ring, while Mathews protested the Judges’ decision. A video package aired, highlighting the feud between Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards. It is announced that next week on Impact, the two will fight each other in a Last Man Standing match.
Karen Jarrett made her way out and handed Jeremy Borash a note. Borash announced that a Knockouts gauntlet Battle Royal will be held next week to determine the #1 contender for Rosemary’s title.
#3 KM (with Sienna) vs. Braxton Sutter (with Allie)
The match was packed with brawling.
Sutter and KM fought back-and-forth before they knocked each other down following a double clothesline. Sienna targeted Allie, who was at ringside. Allie entered the ring and this, distracted KM.
As Sutter gained the upper hand, Sienna got involved once again. This time, she caught Allie. Sutter was distracted, which allowed KM to attack him from behind. He successfully pinned Sutter after hitting him with a powerbomb, followed by a back stabber.
Result: KM defeated Braxton Sutter
Allie attended to Sutter in the ring but was yet again grabbed by Sienna. Allie escaped and hit her with some forearm strikes. KM tried to stop Allie but Sutter was back up and then all four traded strikes. KM and Sienna retreated. Laurel Van Ness showed up on-stage and started to scream.
She was still wearing her wedding dress and holding a champagne bottle with her makeup smeared. A vignette aired, which showed the LAX playing cards, drinking beers and tequila. Homicide was being instructed by Konnan to make sure that LAX emerge as the new Tag Champions. Konnan also asked Diamante to watch out for Rosemary.
Impact returned from commercial with another vignette. It teased that “Fury will be unleashed on 4-13-17”. The video showed a woman, who was walking down the stairs and a few brief shots showed the man she was with. A quick flash depicted that the woman was looking at a photo of Allie and Braxton Sutter.
#4 Decay (Abyss & Crazzy Steve) w/Rosemary vs. Reno Scum (Thornstowe & Luster) vs. LAX (Santana & Ortiz) w/Diamante, Konnan & Homicide vs. The Laredo Kid & Garza Jr. [Fatal 4-way Match For The Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Championship]
Every participant got involved as soon as the bell rang.
At one point, Laredo Ki drove off the ring posts and took everyone out. His partner, Garza did the same stunt as Impact went to a commercial. After the break, Laredo and Garza dominated the match with their high-flying action.
